In this mode, the CogniVideo device performs "zero-crossing detection" of the audio signal. This means that if the audio signal crosses the zero-volts axis and rises to a minimum amplitude, then detection will be declared.
If this option is selected, the following settings function as follows:
Invert Reward Polarity
If this box is checked, detection will be declared during silence, and non-detection during sound.Simulate Sound/Switch
If this box is checked, the CogniVideo device will act as if sound is detected, even if silence exists.
If this option is selected, the following settings function as follows:

- If unchecked:
PLAY state is selected when the TIP is shorted to the SLEEVE, or a logic "Low" is provided on the TIP. Otherwise, PAUSE is selected.- If Checked:
The opposite of the above.Simulate Sound/Switch
If this box is checked, the CogniVideo device will act as if the switch is closed, even if the switch is open.
When the Soft Control Value changes, the Audio Detect Indicator will momentarily blink.

Soft Control Value
The value entered in this box (0-15) is used directly to control the video output. To get the setting to be sent to the device, you must tab or click on another control.

- If unchecked:
Detected state is selected when the Simulate Sound/Switch checkbox is checked. Otherwise, undetected is selected.- If Checked:
The opposite of the above.Simulate Sound/Switch
This checkbox directly controls the detected state.
