CogniVideo: Introduction

The CogniVideo device is a convenient extension to biofeedback and neurofeedback equipment to improve the feedback provided to the patient. CogniVideo is compatible with any NTSC Composite Video source and conventional TV. It provides a high-speed and gradual change to the video image based on when the patient is "within the zone". The device interfaces with Sound/Silence audio, Switch (open/closed) logic, and USB commands.

Usage Scenarios

• Recorded Videos:
  The CogniVideo device will easily interface with conventional video streams, such as from a DVD or VHS Tape video player connected to a conventional television.

• Decoded Television:
  Many VCR devices can receive TV signals and create a composite video signal. CogniVideo can modify the composite video signal of conventional television programs.

• Live Cameras:
  Experiment with live cameras showing two interacting patients or other scenes.

• Game Systems:
  Since all game systems support Composite Video output, CogniVideo is compatible with all these systems, Nintendo, X-Box, and PlayStation.

• NTSC Composite Video signal (Yellow Cable) is modified as it is sent to the TV monitor.
